- The M1 was shut between junction 6 for Bricket Wood and junction 5 for Watford from around 9am.
- It followed a crash in the motorway this morning (May 13).
- Traffic was stopped to move the vehicles involved clear of the live lanes.
- There were 45-minute delays and miles of traffic, according to National Highways.
- A silver Astra Breeze and a truck were reportedly involved in the "damage-only" crash.
- Police attended and both vehicles were recovered at the roadside.
