A free weekend of fitness fun will be staged at Watford Leisure Centre Woodside on Saturday and Sunday, January 11 and 12 to celebrate a £250,000 investment in gym facilities.
Everyone Active, which operates the centre in partnership with Watford Borough Council, has arranged series of activities including group cycling sessions, functional training workshops, InBody Analyser tests, exercise classes, Wattbike workshops, GRAVITY Training taster sessions, drop in badminton and free swimming.
For children there will be a two kilometre run and a chance to find out about the new junior membership.
The updated gym has benefited from a range of new equipment including the X-Cube, Wattbikes, internet enabled CV machines, Total Gym and an interactive system called Preva which allows users to set personal workout targets and long-term goals, such as losing weight or toning up.
Everyone Active is also offering customers the chance to win a hamper worth £3,500 which includes a full family membership, personal training sessions, swimming lessons, a £500 cheque, spa and hotel break and Red Letter Day voucher.
The draw will be made at 10am on Saturday in the reception.
To enter, guests just need to register for a free Everyone Active card and turn up at 10am for a chance to win.
