A man in his 30s has died after a car crash in Kings Langley.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal road traffic collision, in Hempstead Road on Monday night.

The collision accident around 11.30pm and involved a blue Ford Focus and a silver TX4 taxicab, which was travelling in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Ford Focus died at the scene. The driver and the two passengers of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.

The road was closed for around four and a half hours to allow investigations to take place at the scene.

Anyone who saw the collision or saw the vehicles prior to the collision is being asked to contact PC Dave Clarke via the Herts police non-emergency number 101.
