Police have released an e-fit photograph after a burglar pushed a Watford home-owner into a cupboard before stealing jewellery and valuable electronic items.
The incident happened on Monday, December 30 between 10.25am and 11.15am in Rickmansworth Road.
A burglar told the victim he was there to read the meter, but once inside the house, pushed the victim into a cupboard and took ornaments, jewellery, watches, two iPads, a Toshiba laptop, a purse and money.
The man is described as a white, in his 40s, of medium build and about 5ft 10in.
He has short dark hair with a goatee beard and was wearing black trousers, and a big navy blue jacket that had a luminous stripe down the front.
Police believed a second criminal was also involved.
