Former England and Spurs football star Gary Mabbutt MBE is supporting a campaign to help vulnerable people at risk from cold weather.
Gary is backing this year's 'Keep Warm, Stay Well' campaign, which offers support to vulnerable residents in south west Hertfordshire who are struggling with the cold or with paying their fuel bills.
The former Tottenham Hotspur captain has voiced an animated video to direct those in need to the help that’s available to them.
Gary said: "It is vital that vulnerable people, particularly older people, those with serious illnesses and disabilities and those with very young children, are able to heat their homes during the winter months, as a cold home can have devastating effects.
"That is why I am encouraging people to get in touch and get support. Take care, keep warm and stay well this winter."
Help available can include home insulation and draught-proofing, emergency heaters and advice on energy efficiency. There's also advice on paying bills, including entitlement to grants and benefits that could help.
