A Garston woman has been left £800 out of pocket for fly-tipping on an estate.
Council officials caught up with Samantha Wright after they found evidence linking her to black bags and laundry bags of rubbish dumped by a depot in Boundary Way in July last year.
Wright, of Magpie Place, was interviewed under caution at Watford Borough Council and admitted dumping the majority of the rubbish by the depot.
On Monday, January 13, she was sentenced at Watford Magistrates’ Court and fined £130 plus £20 victim surcharge. She was also ordered to pay £650 prosecution costs.
