Will tax be frozen? Council decides

The level of county council tax will be set at a budget meeting this week.

Hertfordshire County Council is proposing to freeze council tax for the fifth year in a row.

This matter, along with setting the budget, will be discussed and voted on at the full council meeting on Tuesday, starting at 10am at County Hall, Hertford.

Stop the loss of Section 106 money from developers and ensure money is transparently spent on Watford areas which have suffered from the ravages of over development with smashed up footways after they have left.

Perhaps there will also be an emphasis on cutting wasting taxpayers' money by making better use of their empty properties and behave like a responsible landlord.
