A Northwood hospice will be holding a spring sale later this month.

Michael Sobell Hospice, at Mount Vernon Hospital, will be hosting the event, which will take place on Wednesday, March 26 between 11am and 3pm.

All the items on sale have been donated by employees of GlaxoSmithKline(GSK)  who have been clearing out their clutter for the event.

Items available willl include clothing, jewellery, bric-a-brac, accessories and textiles.

Geraint Hughes, corporate and trusts fundraising manager at the hospice, said: "We are thrilled to be working in partnership with GSK on this project.

"Corporate supporters are a vital part of our fundraising strategy at Michael Sobell Hospice, we need to raise £1.4 million pounds every year to keep our vital patient services going."

Ade Wellspring, HR services representative at GSK, said: "The Employee Services Team at GSK is honoured to support such a wonderful charity that provides care to patients with life-limiting illnesses."
