After the success of last year’s Langleybury School reunion, organisers have made it an annual event and are getting ready for this year’s get-together.

Although the school closed in the mid 1990s and is now mainly used as a film set, a number of the ex-students have not forgotten the good times they had in the playground and are planning to get together for a school reunion.

The Langleybury School Alumni Group will be holding their third Langleybury School Reunion at Langleybury Cricket Club, in Hunton Bridge, in June.

The reunion is now an annual event for all ex Langleybury pupils, former teachers and staff of Langleybury School, regardless of age or school year, and all former Langleybury people are welcome to attend.

Last year’s event at Evergreen Football Club was popular, and this year’s reunion promises to be bigger and better, with a cash bar and music too.

Langleybury Cricket Club is the closest suitable venue to the former school, as unfortunately the former school site, which is now used as a film set, and has featured in many TV adverts, dramas and films, is no longer available to hire for such an event.

The reunion is set to take place on Friday, June 6 and will kick off at 7 until late.

A Langleybury School reunion took place last November, when the event was largely aimed at pupils who attended Langleybury School between 1976 and 1986.

Former pupils of the Kings Langley based school attended from all over the country, the world, and in some cases more locally from Watford, Abbots Langley and Kings Langley.
