Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a man was robbed in Watford.

The offence occurred on Sunday, February 23, at around 1am on Bridle Path near the Flag Pub and St Albans Road.

The victim, a 39-year-old man, was walking along Bridle Path when he became surrounded by a large group of youths.

One of them punched the victim in the face and stole his wallet. The large group then ran off towards Watford Junction train station.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact DS Jo Goodson via the Herts Police non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference C1/14/851. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
