CCTV footage has been released after jewellery worth hundreds of pounds was stolen in a Watford burglary.

Hertfordshire Constabulary released the footage following the crime, which took place at around 12.40pm on Monday, January 20.

The burglar broke into the Hempstead Road property through a back window before stealing the valuable jewellery and running off down the road.

Investigating detective constable, Judith Muskett, said: "I would like to speak with the man pictured as part of my inquiries and would ask anyone who recognises him to contact me with information."
