Watford Observer: Council funds new notice board in Watford Council funds new notice board in Watford

A Watford residents' group has been given a £166 council cash grant to buy a new notice board.

Hertfordshire County Council has awarded Nascot Residents Association the money to erect the board at the end of Church Road.

The money has come from the council’s locality budget.

Another electoral bribe?
Maybe there should be a requirement that such payments are disallowed during the 6 month period before elections?
No one can possibly imagine the county councillor involved will refrain from mentioning the grant in their local political flyers in the run up to the election next month - do they?
