The police are trying to reunite residents in Bushey with some items believed to be stolen, after four garages were burgled and property from nine cars was stolen. 

Three people were arrested and charged for handling stolen property on Wednesday March 12 after several thefts from unlocked garages and cars between Saturday March 8 and Monday March 10.

Lee Johnston, age 26, of Silk Mill Way in Tring and Sophie Knight, age 18, of no fixed abode
have been charged with ten garage and vehicle thefts. 

Ashley Mitchell, age 19, of Whippendell Road in Watford has been charged with one offence of handling. They are currently on police bail and due before St Albans Magistrates on Thursday April 10.

DC Dan Osborne from the Hertsmere Local Crime Unit said: "A metal emblem, sat nav, classic model cars, golf clubs and a bottle of wine have been recovered but we do not have any owners."

A 100 year old bible, cases of wine and power tools have already been reunited with residents in Bushey.
