There will be a fun day in July which will include all manner of entertainment and a celebrity football match, but first up is a meal deal fundraiser at Zizzi’s Italian restaurant in Kings Street, Watford, from 7pm on Thursday, April 10.
The restaurant has organised a special set price two course meal for £11.95 or three courses for £14.95, and all the money spent on food going to charity. The same deal will also apply if you want to dine à la carte.
A similar event last year raised more than £1,000 for charity, but organiser Ellen Dean is confident that sum will be bettered this time around.
As well as great food and great company there will be a raffle and live and classic soul music provided by Lee Small who has two solo albums to his name and has performed with a host of household names.
You may not recognise the name but you will the voice and the music.
To book a table call Zizzi’s on 19232 21733 or visit their website website www.zizzi.co.uk and mention the Watford Observer.
