Reception pupils at a school in Bushey were excited to welcome a pilot to the school, to coincide with learning about transport.
Pupils at Immanuel College Prep School on Elstree road were visited by Captain Braverman, who told students what it was like to be a pilot.
He also talked about how aeroplanes stay in the air, take off and land and where all the luggage, small animals and cargo is stored.
Jacob Meiger, a pupil in the school said "I loved finding out that the fuel goes in the wings of the plane and I got to wear his cap."
