Parents interested in sending their children to a proposed new secondary school in Croxley Green have until the end of the month to show their support.

St Clement Danes School, in Chenies Road, Chorleywood, is leading the bid to build a free school in Baldwins Lane.

The school needs the support of 90 Year 3 and 90 Year 4 parents in order to submit an application to the Department for Education.

So far, 90 people have completed the Parental Support Survey saying they would send their child to Croxley Green Secondary School in 2016/17.

Parents have until April 30 to respond to the survey.

St Clement Danes School's headteacher, Dr Josephine Valentine, and education consultant Norman Hoare have been meeting with parents to discuss the need for a new secondary school in the area.

Prospective parents are invited to find out more at a meeting on Monday April 28, at 7pm at Little Green Junior School, in Lincoln Drive, Croxley Green, and on Wednesday April 30 at 7pm at Field Junior School, in Watford Field Road, Watford.
