Chorleywood and Sarratt will no longer be under the control of the Abbots Langley Safer Neighbourhood Team as of next month.

The change in police areas will come into effect on May 22.

The two villages will return to the control of the Rickmansworth Safer Nighbourhood Team, as it was previously before last year’s changes.

They closed Rickmansworth police station and put a small police office in the Council offices. They said that they would run emergency response from Watford, and that it wouldn't take any longer to get to calls, until there was a public outcry and they changed that. We hardly see police around here as it is. They now want them to take on a larger geographic area. We seem to be getting less and less all the time for our policing precept on the rates.
