The Chief Constable’s return of crime for the quarter ended March 20, gave a total of 457 apprehended and summoned, of whom 11 were committed for trial, 328 summarily convicted and 118 discharged.
During the quarter, 30 males and four females were proceeded against for drunkenness of whom 28 males and four females were convicted and two males discharged.
