A scout group in Bushey that could face closure if new leaders are not found has erected a large sign appealing for help.
The 79th Bushey & Oxhey Scout Group, based in Park Avenue, faces indefinite closure if it cannot find new adult volunteers to take over as leaders of the Beaver Colony and Cub Pack.
The club is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
Bushey North councillor Jane West said: "This is a fantastic hub where young people can come together to embark on new adventures, build key skills and make new friends.
"It would be such a shame to lose the scout hut forever so, if you have some spare time on your hands, please volunteer to help out."
Anyone interested in volunteering should contact Brian Fox 0771 869 8091.
