More than 600 players took part in football tournament in Bushey this week.

Bushey & Oxhey FC hosted the annual football tournament at the Met Police Club on Monday.

Sixty teams took part and 130 matches were played across seven different age groups.

Off the pitch, the ex-Arsenal and England star Paul Merson attended and signed autographs, and posed for photographs.

Jon Marsden at the club said: "The clubs vision is to provide the best possible footballing experience for our players and families.

"Our approach has been recognised by the Hertfordshire FA and this year we have been shortlisted for Charter Standard Club of the Year at the Hertfordshire FA County Awards, with the winner being announced at the Annual Dinner at Sopwell House on June 4."
