Organisers are looking for volunteers to help with the Abbots Langley Carnival.

The Watford Lions are looking for residents who "can spare an hour" on Saturday, June 14, to help marshal the float procession through the village.

Duties are listed as: "modelling a Hi-Viz tabard, looking official and stopping people from doing stupid things."

The Watford Lions are also looking for anyone who can help set the event up.

Anyone interested should call Cheryl Cochrane on 01923 449841.
