Four people have been taken to hospital after a collision on the northbound M1.
Police and paramedics were called to the crash between a silver Audi, a Vauxhall Corsa and a lorry between junction 4 and 5 this morning.
Paramedics treated five people in total at the scene for neck and back injuries and have taken four of them to hospital as a "precautionary measure".
One woman had to be freed from her vehicle after the incident. Paramedics were called at 8.55am.
Two lanes have been closed while the police conduct investigations into the incident.
