A Rickmansworth Brownie and her dad spent an unforgettable day at Buckingham Palace during a special celebration marking 100 years of Brownies on Wednesday. 

Natalia Woch, aged eight, and her dad, Marcin, 38, attended a tea Party with a twist on the famous Palace lawns  as they celebrated a century of Brownie "adventure, friendship, community action and fun".

They were joined by Girlguiding’s president, HRH The Countess of Wessex and the UK’s top female tennis player, Laura Robson.

Robson, who is Big Brownie Birthday Champion this year, brought inspiring Natalia with her top tennis tips.

Regarding her time in the Brownies, Marcin said: "She loves playing with her friends. They have a lot of fun during different adventures. She learns a lot of new hobbies and Natalia loves collecting badges which extends her knowledge and abilities by working towards them."

Natalia, a member of the 1st Rickmansworth Brownies, added: "I love Brownies sleepovers and helping and saving animals."
