A helicopter circled above South Oxhey last night as police searched for suspects following a burglary.

Two teenagers were arrested after a house was burgled in Muirfield Road late last night.

Hertfordshire Constabulary was alerted to the burglary by a member of the public at 11.23pm.

When officers arrived at the property, they discovered the front door had been forced open.

Two people absconded from the scene and a police helicopter was used to locate them.

A 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy, both from Watford, were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
They are currently in police custody.
