Police have released a CCTV image of a man after fuel was taken from a Northwood garage.
Hertfordshire Constabulary released the image of a man they would like to speak with in connection with the theft, which took place on Friday, July 25.
At about 6.10pm at the Esso Service Station, in Sandy Lane, a man put £45.84 of unleaded petrol into a black Citroen and drove off without paying.
Officers would like to speak with the man pictured.
Anyone who has any information about the identity of the man pictured is asked to call the police non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference number C3/14/825.
Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. Those with information could be entitled to a reward.
