A homeowner was woken by burglars after they broke into their Croxely Green property in the early hours of a Sunday morning.

Burglars broke into an address in Watford Road at 3.40am on August 17 by forcing the front door open.

The homeowner disturbed the burglars who ran off, taking a silver Apple iPad with them (C2/14/1774).

Another burglary took place that same night. Sometime between Saturday, August 16 night and 7.30am Sunday, August 17, burglars broke into an address in New Road.

They gained entry to the property and took the keys to a black Mini Cooper, which was parked on the drive, and stole it (C2/14/1777).
