Watford head coach Beppe Sannino thanked the Hornets fans for their "unbelievable" support at Manchester City and says they made the atmosphere at the Etihad Stadium like a theatre.
There were 3,352 travelling fans who watched the Golden Boys lose 4-2 in the FA Cup fourth round but the Watford faithful kept singing right up until the final whistle.
"I would like to say thank you to Watford’s supporters who were unbelievable today," Sannino said after the match.
"I have heard about supporters in England, in your country where I am now a guest, I have heard about this sort of thing before but now I am living it in person.
"And my supporters in England, they allow me to come into a theatre – not only a football pitch - but a theatre and it’s wonderful to be there."
Sannino added: "I always talk about the passion of Watford’s supporters.
"Today to see that part of the crowd completely in yellow was fantastic."
