There was a second place finish for Watford Harriers’ Chloe Dearman in the five mile race at the Berkhamsted half marathon.
Dearman crossed the line in 34.51 and was just 11 seconds behind the eventual winner of the women's event. Tom Rayner (29.07) was third in the men's race and Duncan Martin was fourth.
In the half marathon, there were five personal bests for Harriers athletes. Tim Birkett led the men home with a PB and there was also a new personal best from Adrian Harwood.
Moira Craft was the first Harrier lady home and there were also new best times for Ciaran Weldon, Maurice Keane and Lorna Martin.
