Evergreen Eagles thumped Evergreen Ladies 4-0 in Division Three of the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire County Girls and Women’s Football League on Sunday.
The win means Eagles have now completed the double over their rivals thanks to a confident and determined display.
Eagles made the early breakthrough after Sophie Clark pounced on a loose ball with a well-taken strike and shortly before half-time winger Fran Higgins used her strength and speed to make it 2-0.
The second half saw Eagles take control of the game after striker Christie Brewer latched on to a through ball and calmly beat the keeper for number three.
Sam Takis secured all three points with a delightful free-kick that beat the keeper from long range.
Evergreen Eagles are always looking for new players.
