Berkhamsted are through to the final of the Premier Division Cup after winning 5-4 on penalties against London Colney on Tuesday.

Berko fell behind when Spencer Clarke-Mardle turned the ball home from close range after Carl Tasker had saved an initial shot.

However, the home side hit back as Connor Calcutt struck after Ed Canham headed back across goal.

On the hour-mark, Calcutt then grabbed his second and Berkhamsted added a third when Dale Sears scored.

It seemed as if Berko would go through but Colney netted twice in stoppage-time through Shaun Murphy and Greg Shaw.

London Colney went ahead in extra-time via Shaw but James Towell hit back, the game ended 4-4.

The match was decided from the spot. Dan Griggs, Steve Hawes, Jack Copson, Jamie Gavin and Calcutt all converted and Tasker then denied James Lawrence to seal Berko’s passage into the final.

In Premier Division action on Saturday, Berko sit third in the table after defeating Hadley thanks to a goal from Frankie Jowle.
