Matthew Igbineweka won a gold medal for Watford Harriers at the Lee Valley Miniathon.
Igbineweka was the outstanding performer as his effort in the 200m in a time of 29.88 sec, a run of 8.9 in the 60m hurdles and 11.7 in the hurdles helped him finish first in the year four age group.
His impressive form also earned him fourth in the year four and five age group despite being younger than many of the other runners.
In the girls team, Marli Jessop ran an outstanding 200m of 31.20, 9.01 in the 60m and a long jump distance of 3.61 to finish fifth in the year six, seven and eight age group.
