Evergreen are through to the fourth round of the Aubrey Cup after they clinched a 5-3 extra-time win against reigning champions Bushey Sports Club on Saturday.

The game was goalless at the interval but Evergreen went ahead in the second period when Leon Hoyes found the net.

Bushey fought back to score three times in succession. With ten minutes to go Krasi Makeevev pulled a goal back for Evergreen who then levelled through Curtis Donaldson.

The game went to extra-time and a second goal from Donaldson put Evergreen in front. Makeevev then added his second to secure Green’s progression.

In the Senior Premier Division, Belstone claimed a 3-1 victory against Bovingdon thanks to a double from Lawrence Yaku and a single from Darren Turner.

Chipperfield Corinthians clinched a 5-3 win over Knebworth. Adrian Abramian netted a hat-trick while Dan Brown and Harry Slade also scored for Corinthians.

A strike from Karl Swan saw Mill End Sports secure a 1-1 draw with Cuffley, Bedmond Sports and Social were beaten 3-0 by Letchworth Garden City Eagles and Sarratt lost 4-0 to Bush Hill Rangers.

In Senior Division One, a brace from Ricardo Faux-James and a Ryan King goal helped Bushey Rangers overcome Hertford Heath 3-1.
