Watford's slim play-off hopes have been boosted significantly by the news that Fernando Forestieri, Fitz Hall and Almen Abdi are all now fit.

The Hornets today said Forestieri is available for Saturday’s trip to Millwall after resuming training this week following a toe injury, whilst Hall has also returned following a lengthy lay off with an Achilles problem.

Forestieri has not featured for Beppe Sannino's side since requiring stitches and suffering a small fracture on March 11. Hall made his last appearance as a substitute on February 8.

Reigning Player of the Year Abdi made his first start since August 31 in the 3-0 win over Leeds United on Tuesday evening and head of medical Marco Cesarini has confirmed the Swiss had no reaction to playing 85 minutes.

Midfielder Cristian Battocchio suffered a knee injury on Saturday and was on crutches on Tuesday night. He has improved and is now off crutches but the game comes too soon for the 22 year-old.

Defender Lloyd Doyley has been jogging this week but misses Saturday's game as he recovers from twisting his ankle at the end of March.

Arsenal loanee Park Chu-Young faces another two weeks on the sidelines.

Marco Cassetti will miss the Hornets' next two games after picking up his tenth booking of the season in the win over Leeds in midweek.

Fellow centre-back Gabriele Angella is only one booking away from facing a two-game ban but the disciplinary cut-off point is on Sunday.

Victory at Sheffield Wednesday at the end of March ended Watford's 14 match winless run on the road.

Having collected four points from their last two home games, the Hornets are just seven points outside the play-offs with a game in hand on the sides above them.

Back-to-back victories have hoisted Millwall up to 22nd, leaving the Lions just two points from safety, though Charlton - the side immediately above them - have two games in hand.

Watford have lost just one of their last six trips to the Den, with Sannino getting his first win as head coach against the Lions at Vicarage Road on Boxing Day.

Ian Holloway's side have only won once at home in 2014, beating Ipswich Town in mid January.
