Steve Finn has taken a five-wicket haul for Middlesex in their LV County Championship Division One against Nottinghamshire.
The 25-year-old, from Watford, bowled 25 overs and ended with five for 91.
Finn grabbed the key wickets of James Taylor (64) and Riki Wessels (58) as Nottinghamshire’s first innings was halted on 326.
At the time of writing, Middlesex’s reply started strongly. They were on 224 for three with Sam Robson unbeaten on 117.
Former Parmiter’s School pupil Finn is looking to rediscover his best form after a wretched winter.
He was sent home from England’s tour of Australia in January after being deemed “unselectable” due to issues with his bowling action.
