Watford's ticket office were reporting sales of season-ticket renewals as having passed 7,000 when the Watford Observer went to press yesterday (Thursday) afternoon.
Hornets’ fans have up to and including after the Ipswich Town home fixture tomorrow (Saturday) to renew at ‘Earlybird’ prices, previously advertised at an average increase of around three per cent.
Sales have averaged around 800 per day during this week, so Watford could be looking at around 8,500 season tickets having been renewed by the end of tomorrow’s matchday.
There are currently just over 12,000 season-ticket holders, with renewals possible online, over the phone to the ticket office or by visiting the matchday ticket office under the Rookery Stand.
Once all supporters have been served after the Ipswich Town full-time whistle, ticket office doors will close and season ticket sales will be suspended until Friday, April 25 – allowing new prices to be published and loaded into the club’s ticketing system.
