Beppe Sannino believes Watford’s performance at Queens Park Rangers was their best since he took over, despite what the scoreboard said at the end of the match. But who was the stand-out individual?

The Hornets controlled possession for large parts of the game and created several openings, although they did lack the clinical edge needed during several moves.

They did give away a host of needless fouls but on the whole were defensively resolute. Queens Park Rangers’ goals came from a direct free-kick and a counter-attack when the Hornets had committed men forward.

It was hard to pick out a player who didn’t perform well but who was the best?

why oh why don't you give us the whole team to pick from wobbly rather than pre-selecting a shortlist, which is your subjective view ? It really can't be that difficult.

Abdi for me.

I reiterate; Almunia is a shot stopper! His all-round goal keeping skills are not up to championship level, unfortunately Bond is not the answer either, as least not yet! Need to bring in a really top class keeper. Not sure Ranegie is the partner for Deeny although his type of player is perfect but of higher quality needed.

I was immensely impressed with the performance at QPR, there were some negatives, namely two, the constant niggle type fouls around the Watford penalty area which finally shot the team in the foot, this time it was Ranegie with a stupid foul, we all knew Almunia is vulnerable in these situations.

Secondly, there were so many great opportunities to score and all bar one was lost. Particularly annoyed with McGugan who on two maybe three occasions intercepted ‘killer’ passes which were meant for Deeny in goal scoring opportunities. . He has scored 10 goals but his shot to goal ratio is very poor at least 5 to 1 if not more, he does get himself in great positions but doesn’t have the coolness to be able to make them count on a regular basis, not sure he is a team player.

Think Bepe has done enough to be the manager next season, the team yesterday put in an outstanding performance, it was the 180 minutes of intense football that costs us QPR only came into the game as Watford tired badly and in my view on this occasion totally excusable,

The addition of Abdi and Riera has made an incredible difference, confirms once again the loss of 4 players (we all know who they are) from last season cost promotion, no doubt about it.

It's quite ironic that Deeny is a championship player and Knockaert will now be plying his trade in the Premier.

at least WFC use players who play honestly, and whom we can admire, rather than diving cheats such as Knockaert. At least we know that in the long run, cheats never prosper!

Honestly thought it was tozsers worst game for us .... Especially last 20, poor decision making and distribution.

Ranegie won everything in this game and Riera is quite probably in the best 11 players ever to wear a watford shirt
