Herts Senior County League Round-Up 

Evergreen gained some consolation for Monday’s 4-0 Aubrey Cup final defeat against Standon & Puckeridge as they beat Hertford Heath 6-4 after extra-time in a thrilling Bingham-Cox Cup Final two days later.

It was a disappointing display from Evergreen in the Aubrey final but on Wednesday their game with Hertford ended 4-4 at full-time before they prevailed in the additional 30 minutes.

Bedmond Sports & Social Club lead the Premier Divison by a point after winning 4-1 at Knebworth on Wednesday.

They replaces Belstone, who had been top after recording a 3-0 victory against Cuffley following a 4-1 win against Letchworth Garden City Eagles.

James Duncan scored twice in Tuesday night’s win over Cuffley with Jamie Arthur also on target.

Darren Turner netted a brace on Saturday while Lee Inch and Duncan netted the others. Carl Williams replied for the Eagles.

There were contrasting fortunes for Bushey Sports Club.

There was disappointment on Saturday as they were beaten 3-1 at Wormley Reserves, Jack Brown netted the consolation.

There were better fortunes on Monday as they overcame Letchworth 5-3. A hat-trick from Terryl Harding-Nathan (3) and singles from Dale Archer and Joshua Lapompe sealed victory.

Chipperfield Corinthians drew 2-2 with Bush Hill Rangers thanks to an Adrian Abramian brace while it was the same score for Sarratt against Knebworth. Shuan Banham and Elliot Powell netted.

Bushey Rangers remain fourth in Division One after they beat Buntingford Town 3-1. David Taylor and a Ryan King brace cancelled out a goal from Luke Cox.

Old Parmiterians fought back from a goal behind to earn a 2-2 draw with Lemsford through a second-half Nick Deacon brace.
