Watford have confirmed their first two pre-season friendlies of the summer with developmental games against two newly-promoted Conference South opponents.

The Hornets will send a team of youth and young professional players to face Ryman Premier champions Wealdstone on Wednesday, July 23 (kick off 7.45pm) before they make another short journey to Hemel Hempstead, the winners of the Southern League, on Wednesday, August 6 for a 7.30pm kick off.

Hemel announced the fixture on their website on Friday but at that stage the game had yet to be confirmed.
