Watford’s Championship trip to Derby County has been brought forward and will now take place on Friday, April 3.

The fixture was originally set to take place on Saturday, April 4, 2015, but has been moved to Good Friday. Kick off remains at 3pm.

The Hornets supporters have not enjoyed their previous two trips to Pride Park. Watford were beaten 4-2 last season and suffered a heavy 5-1 defeat in 2012.

Really irritating when games are changed at such short notice. Once again I have to change my plans for the day.

Wessex guy has it right more time for the players to recover! Yet as an old git I recall us having 3 games over Easter. Good Friday, Saturday and then an afternoon kick off on the Monday. No one then complained about matches being too close together.
