A Sunday morning kick-off against Dawlish saw recent signing Paul Furlong score his first goals for the Hornets.
The big striker gave notice of what was to come with four goals, only the woodwork and the home goalkeeper preventing him from extending this tally.
Andy Hessenthaler, Barry Ashby and a Gary Porter penalty provided the other goals in a 7-0 victory for Steve Perryman's on-tour side.
