Kings Langley lost 5-2 to Conference South newcomers Hemel Hempstead as they continued their pre-season preparations on Saturday.

Visitors Hemel were ahead when Lewis Toomey rolled the ball into the path of Ben Mackey, who slotted into the bottom corner to put the Tudors ahead.

The Spartan South Midlands side refused to roll over though, and equalised from the penalty spot shortly after.

Toomey then put Hemel back in front after missing two good opportunities in quick succession.

A spate of half-time changes saw the tempo disrupted after the break before Fladzomer scored the third for Hemel with a looping effort.

Kings fought back once more though, profiting from the Hemel goalkeeper’s misfortune to make it 3-2.

In a goal-laden encounter, it was Hemel who went back in front, Chamberlain unleashed a powerful effort to make it 4-2 before Fladzomer bagged a second to finally kill the tie off.
