Jimmy Davis, a 21-year-old Manchester United midfielder who was due to spend the 2003/04 season on loan at Vicarage Road, died as the result of a motor accident on the M40.

Watford's opening game of the season against Coventry City - due to be played the same day - was postponed.

Remember like only yesterday.
Heading up to the opening game against Coventry and turning back to Bournmouth at Jnct 4 on the M3.
We was so lucky to see him at a pre-season against the shots.
