Watford have announced ticket prices for their friendly against Udinese will be increased on the day of the game.

Tickets bought in advance of the contest are priced at £3 for adults, £1 for under-16s and £2 for concessions.

But those supporters who purchase tickets on Saturday will pay £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and £2 for under-16s.

The club’s Vicarage Road ticket office will be open from 9am until kick-off. Turnstiles will open at 1.30pm.

As of this afternoon, the Hornets had sold 7,700 tickets for the contest against the fellow Pozzo-owned club.

Paper tickets will only be used for the match and there will be cash only sales for The Graham Taylor Stand at north east corner.

The Watford FC Community Stand will not be open. The Graham Taylor and Rookery Stands will be used while the Vicarage Road Stand will be opened if there is sufficient demand.

After the costs of staging the game are covered all money raised from ticket sales will be donated to the Royal British Legion, which also receives £1 from every Hornets away shirt sold this season.

Watford will hold their annual Community Open Day on Sunday at Fullerians RFC.

The free event starts at 12.30pm and runs until 4pm and there will be a range of activities for all ages.

Those of us that have got tickets in advance I hope that there are buckets within the ground to contribute to the most necessary need to support our brave men and women and the families that have lost loved ones..

To be honest i would have happily paid the £5 and £3 pound as its for a great cause, good on the club though for the initiative

....and likely to increase significantly between now and kick-off, I presume. Would love to have been able to watch that game.
