Sean Murray is fit for Watford’s Capital One Cup first round clash with Stevenage tomorrow but Mathias Ranegie has joined Ikechi Anya and Craig Cathcart on the Hornets’ injury list.

Murray suffered a dead leg in the pre-season fixture with Coventry City and missed Saturday’s Championship opener with Bolton Wanderers.

However, he is available for tomorrow’s clash at Broadhall Way.

Swedish striker Ranegie has a groin injury and will miss the game as a precaution while Anya remains out with a knee problem.

Cathcart (knee) is a long-term absentee as are young strikers Bernard Mensah (knee) and Uche Ikpeazu (ankle).

Cristian Battocchio and Alex Jakubiak will miss the contest as they have been called up to the Italian Under-21 and Scotland Under-19 sides respectively.

Midfielder Keith Andrews, who wasn’t eligible to play against Bolton Wanderers due to the terms of his loan, could make his Hornets debut against Boro.
