WOODROW Audrey (n e Riley) Passed away peacefully on 15th January 2017 aged 92 years. She was very much loved and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Funeral service to take place at the Chilterns Crematorium in Amersham on Thursday 2nd February at 11.30am. Donations if desired to the Cats Protection League. Much loved teacher , at Oxhey Infants school . I had the very great Good luck to be taught by Mrs Woodrow as a little 5 year old in 1970 . She was the epitome of kindness , good manners , and created a class full of happiness , security and instilled in us a curiosity to learn our words and numbers as well as an interest in wildlife and the world around us. Some of my earliest memories as a child are of her beautiful smile and reading to us little ones , always immaculately dressed and never without her bright orange lipstick . A very great lady and sadly missed . My condolences to her family . David Head
