Gutted to hear of Cpl Daniels’ passing. He was my section commander in 595 Troop when I joined the Royal Marines 30 years ago. An incredible level and fair bloke, very rarely got agitated but when he was we knew it! Always accompanied by Woodbine, ‘Come Here!’ He would quietly speak about his time ‘down south’ in 82. Privileged to have known him when I was just starting out. May him Rest in Peace, one of my early heroes. The sight of him and Woody (in sunglasses!) driving around CTC made us all laugh... very 😎
