CAMFIELD Derek Victor Of Hunstanton, Norfolk. Formerly of Appletree Walk, Watford. Derek passed away peacefully aged 91 years old in Hospital in King's Lynn on Thursday 7th June, 2018. Derek will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. The funeral service will take place at 12.15pm on Tuesday 26th June, 2018 at Mintlyn Crematorium in King's Lynn. Derek employed me at Marconi Radar Systems, The Bridle Path, Watford in 1976, I was 22 years of age. Derek, like most of the people who worked there, were my parents age and he and the others took me under their wing so to speak. He also found every person who worked there a new position in GEC when the Watford office closed in 1981. I always look back fondly at my time working with him, we kept in touch and I thanked him at Christmas for suggesting I joined the company pension scheme. He was one of life's Gentlemen!
