Mobile speed cameras can appear in these Watford area locations, which have been found to be accident hotspots.
Hertfordshire County Council lists locations where Hertfordshire Constabulary set up mobile speed cameras in the county. Police will use vans to rotate between the sites, based on accident data.
According to the council, there are four locations within Watford, and 15 when including Hertsmere and Three Rivers.

In Watford they can be set up in Hempstead Road, Radlett Road, Tolpits Lane, and Hempstead Road.
The Watford Observer has mapped 10 locations where motorists may notice mobile cameras in the area.
On the list, the council adds that it does not operate all Hertfordshire speed cameras. Some are owned by Highways England and the Police and Crime Commissioner.
