Watford Round Table present Watford Mencap with a cheque for a record £10,000 following the Watford 10K

On Thursday 26 November Daniel Scott presented a cheque for a fantastic £10,000 to Veronica Chamberlain the Funding Manager for Watford Mencap at the Children’s Centre. £20,000 in total was raised and thanks must go to all those who raised sponsorship for this event. Also in attendance were Anne Pattberg, Head of Corporate Responsibility at Camelot and a member of her team Sophie Eastman. Camelot were the main sponsors for this prestigious event. Ro Linton, Manager of the Children’s Centre was delighted to be able to show the visitors exactly how the money raised helps support the children who use the centre and in turn their parents. Veronica Chamberlain said ‘We are very pleased to receive this cheque and would like to thank Watford Round Table for their support and Camelot for sponsoring this event. We look forward to working with The Watford Round Table again next year.’
