Bushey and Watford Phab club members collect £280 (From Watford Observer)

Bushey and Watford Phab club members collect £280 at Sainsburys dome roundabout Watford on Saturday 19th June 2010.

8 members of Bushey and Watford Phab club spent Saturday 19th June collecting funds for the phab club at the Sainsbury’s superstore at the dome roundabout and over the 8 hours raised a total of £280. The money raised will be used towards the phab clubs aim of the integration of the able bodied and disabled members of the Watford, three rivers and Bushey communities by means of shared activities and events. Part of the money will be used towards the Phab Wednesday club nights at centre point community centre , the other part will help subsidise the phab members attending a sea lions swimming club camping weekend at Phasels wood scout camp in July. Thanks to Sainsbury’s for allowing the collection, the phab members who actually did the collection and more importantly the people who generously donated to the collection it will be put to good use.
